Acceptable Use Policy

Eko’s goal is to create a positive and safe community experience. To promote this goal, we discourage and prohibit certain types of conduct that may be harmful to other users or to Eko. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out a list of acceptable and unacceptable conducts for our Services. Please read it carefully. You are responsible for your use of our Services and for any use of the Services made using your account.

When you use our Services, you agree that you shall:

  • comply with the End User Terms of Service, including our Privacy Policy and this Acceptable Use Policy;
  • comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • keep your password and login information confidential and use reasonable effort to prevent unauthorized access to the Services;
  • permit any third party that is not an Authorized End User to access or use a username or password for the Services;
  • Monitor all activity conducted through your account in connection to the Services and primply notify Eko if you become aware of any illegal or unauthorized activity or security breach involving your account or another Authorized End User’s account.

When you use our Services, you agree that you shall:

  • permit any third party that is not an Authorized End User to access or use a username or password for the Services;
  • share your password and login credentials with another person or otherwise provide access to an account designated for you to another person;
  • use the Services to store or transmit any data that may violate or infringe someone else’s trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right, or that may be tortious or illegal;
  • use the Services to disseminate confidential information concerning any other person or legal entity to which you or the Customer don’t own all required rights under the law;
  • transmit to or from the Services any data, file, software, or link that contains or redirects to a virus, Trojan horse, worm, or other harmful components or a technology that illegally accesses contents or information stored within the Services;
  • attempt to interfere with, hack, disable, modify, copy or disrupt the features, functionality or integrity of the Services or any third party use of the Services;
  • avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble or otherwise circumvent any security measure implemented by Eko or any other third party (including another Authorized End User);
  • transmit anything that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, harmful to reputation, pornographic, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, racist or otherwise inappropriate to Eko’s goal;
  • send unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, commercial communications or spam;
  • impersonate or misrepresent your any person or entity, including, but not limited to, an employee of Eko or a Customer’s Authorized End User, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person, organization or entity;
  • register for more than one Eko account or register for an Eko account on behalf of an individual other than yourself;
  • advocate, encourage, or assist any third party in doing any of the above provisions.

Eko shall be entitled to investigate and prosecute violations of any of the above to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws. If we believe a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy is deliberate or presents a real risk of harm to other Authorized End Users, our Customers, the Services or any third parties, Eko reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate your access to the Services.

Detailed information on the processing of Personal Data

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

Advertising

This type of service allows User Data to be utilized for advertising communication purposes displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on this Application, possibly based on User interests.

This does not mean that all Personal Data are used for this purpose. Information and conditions of use are shown below.

Some of the services listed below may use Cookies to identify Users or they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to the User’s interests and behavior, including those detected outside this Application. Data transfers outside the EU
