Founded in Thailand in 2012, the company’s 100-strong team is rapidly growing with offices in Bangkok, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Austin. Korawad’s natural flair for entrepreneurship led to the birth of Eko from his college dorm. Just 4 years after Eko’s founding, and at the age of 21, Korawad received international recognition on the Forbes Asia 30 under 30 list, for the category ‘Enterprise Technology’ as one of the world’s youngest founders to have raised a Series A Round. Now, Eko is spreading its wings globally with the $20 million Series B financing raised in 2018.
Technically savvy and with NASA experience under his belt, David has led Eko’s technical advancement from a basic messaging platform to its current suite of features. If you have a problem at work, you can usually bet on David’s mastermind to help find a sound solution.
Before moving to his current role, Robert served as Eko’s Head of Engineering and Product. His knowledge across multiple departments provides Robert with a unique perspective to Eko. Now, Robert champions cross-team collaboration and global alignment across our offices. His work is reinforced by the proven success in his career which includes leading AMEX’s international web product across 20+ countries, and selling his own UK startup.
Robert holds an MBA from John Hopkins and a BSc in Computer Science, University of MD.
